At Hectare Galerie, we take great care in selecting the contemporary jewellery pieces we present. Each creation is handcrafted by an artist whose work we value and support.
We strive to ensure a transparent and reassuring shopping experience.
This policy outlines the conditions applicable to returns and refunds for any purchase made on our website.
1. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
In accordance with Belgian and European legislation, you have a 14-day withdrawal period starting from the day you receive your order.
You may exercise this right without providing any justification.

You will receive confirmation and detailed return instructions by email.
2. Return conditions
To be accepted, the jewellery item must be returned:
in perfect condition,
unworn,
carefully protected,
in its original packaging,
within 14 days after your withdrawal request.
Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense, except in the event of an error on our part or if the item received is not compliant.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method.
3. Items not eligible for return
Some pieces are made to order or adjusted specifically for you. These cannot be returned:
bespoke or made-to-measure jewellery,
personalised creations,
rings made or ordered specifically in a size that was not available in stock.
These items are considered custom orders and are neither returnable nor refundable.
4. Damaged, faulty or lost items
If, despite our care in preparing your parcel:
the package arrives damaged,
an item shows a defect,
a piece is missing,
or the parcel appears lost,
please inform us immediately, or as soon as the issue is discovered, at: atelier@hectare-galerie.be
Every shipment is covered by transport insurance, handled via our logistics partner.
We will file the claim with the insurer and guide you throughout the process.
5. Refunds
Once the returned jewellery has been received and inspected, the refund will be issued:
within a maximum of 14 days,
to the original payment method,
excluding initial shipping fees, unless the error is ours.
Items showing signs of wear, manipulation, damage or improper handling cannot be refunded.
6. How to return an item
Contact us at atelier@hectare-galerie.be and provide:
your order number,
details of the item(s) concerned,
the reason for the return (optional).
You will receive our return instructions.
Carefully repackage the jewellery in its original box.
Send it back using a tracked delivery service.
Keep your proof of postage until the refund is processed.
7. Legal guarantees
All jewellery pieces purchased from Hectare Galerie are covered by Belgian legal guarantees:
warranty of conformity,
warranty against hidden defects.
Any fault must be reported within 14 days of its discovery.
