Silver is a metal that oxidizes. To keep your silver jewelry looking its best, store it in a dry place and, ideally, away from light.
If oxidation occurs (your piece becomes dull or blackens), soak it for a few seconds in a special silver cleaning solution*, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
This will restore its shine in an instant.
